The Metropolitan Arts Council of Greenville announced April 12 it has awarded $54,500 to 23 individuals and organizations through its quarterly project support grants program.
The first quarter 2024 grant recipients include:

- Greenville Gay Men’s Chorus
- Greenville Shakespeare Company
- Greenville Symphony Orchestra
- Greenville Youth Chorale
- International Ballet
- Makers Collective
- Mosaic Educational and Arts Program
- Rivertree Singers
- Simpsonville Arts Foundation
- Upstate International
- Upstate SC LGBT+ Chamber Fund
- Rudolph Gordon School
“All of us at MAC are very pleased to have the resources to fund such unique and worthwhile projects in our great area,” said Alan Ethridge, MAC executive director. “Our board of directors and staff will ensure that our grants program which is the backbone of MAC provides a much-needed source of income to the many phenomenal arts projects happening in the Greenville community.”
