State investigators say they are still accepting tips related to the SC State shooting that happened a year ago.

The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) has arrested multiple people on gun charges, but agents say they have not found a suspect who killed 19-year-old Jaliyah Butler.

The shooting happened on Oct. 4, 2025, during the college's homecoming.

There were two shootings on campus that night unrelated to each other. Neither victim was a student. The SLED investigation was requested by the South Carolina State University Department of Public Safety.
