"The narrow fellow" in the monkey grass
Rat snakes are members – along with kingsnakes, milk snakes, vine snakes and indigo snakes – of the subfamily Colubrinae of the family Colubridae. They are medium to large constrictors and are found throughout much of the Northern Hemisphere. They feed primarily on rodents. Many species make attractive and docile pets and one, the corn snake, is one of the most popular reptile pets in the world.

Yogic breathing to help manage stress for breast cancer survivors
This week Bobbi Conner talks with Dr. Sundar Balasubramanian about developing mobile technology for breast cancer patients and survivors, that encourages yogic breathing to help manage stress. Dr. Balasubramanian is an Assistant Professor of Radiation Oncology at MUSC and he teaches yogic breathing exercises to breast cancer survivors as part of the Survivors Fit Club program.
