Sell in May and Go Away?

You may have heard this old adage before about the stock market that says: “Sell in May and go away”. It refers to the process of selling your stock holdings in May of each year and buying back in November, mainly because historically, the summer and early fall have tended to be not so great. Should we follow that advice this year?
