South Carolina Emergency Management Division (SCEMD) and FEMA are working towards releasing an updated Hurricane Evacuation Study in 2024 that will detail data on hurricane-related hazards and behaviors, vulnerability, shelters and transportation. By completing the survey, residents are prompted with questions to better prepare them for future hurricane seasons.
