Marilyn and Alan Bergman on Song Travels

Marilyn and Alan Bergman

Marilyn and Alan Bergman are a legendary power couple in American popular music. They penned the themes for the TV programs Alice, Good Times, and In the Heat of the Night; and they earned multiple Emmys, Grammys, and Academy Awards, including Best Original Song for “The Way We Were,” written with Marvin Hamlisch. The hits keep coming as this week Feinstein performs “There’s You,” a song he co-wrote with the Bergmans.
