Fox Hideaway Farms

Making It Grow logo

We paid a sneak visit to Fox Hideaway Farms, one of Richland Counties stops for the Clemson Ag and Art Tours taking place from mid-May to the end of June. At this location, kids can frolic in a meadow, pet horses or goats, and see how fast chickens can run. Eleven counties are involved with farms, breweries, event spaces and artists’ studios open – each with an opportunity to see artists delving into the creative process and fresh produce growing or displayed at a portable stand available for you to take home. You’ll meet growers who have produce, eggs, and such offered throughout the year at their farm or a local weekend market, often unusual varieties you can’t get in a traditional grocery store. To learn what weekends venues are open, search Clemson ag and art tours.

She studied horticulture at Clemson University as a non-traditional student. “I’m so fortunate that my early attempts at getting a degree got side tracked as I’m a lot better at getting dirty in the garden than practicing diplomacy!” McNulty also studied at South Carolina State University and earned a graduate degree in teaching there.
