SC Lede: From Boomers To Zoomers — Shots All Around!

A South Carolina Senate committee approved this design of the state flag as the design standard for the state. The bill making the flag the standard heads to the Senate floor where it will be debated and could change.

This edition of the South Carolina Lede for March 27, 2021, features: a discussion of the $9.8 billion state budget the S.C. House approved this week; analysis of Gov. Henry McMaster's announcement that all South Carolinians over the age 16 will qualify for the COVID-19 vaccines beginning next week; and a look the state flag design approved by a S.C. Senate committee.
