SC Lede: COVID-19 — First In The South... And Country

South Carolina state senators this week approved the so-called "fetal heartbeat" abortion ban bill by a vote of 30-13. The bill would outlaw abortion at around six to eight weeks when an embryo's heartbeat can be detected.
