A strong cold front pushed through the area Friday afternoon but will linger just to our south for a few days. A stiff north breeze behind the system will give this weekend a much more winter-like feeling and possibly bring several inches of rain.
Waves of scattered to widespread showers will keep tracking through the state now into late Saturday. Saturday is looking like a washout with most areas picking up 1-3” of rain on the average with locally higher amounts. No severe weather is expected but local flooding possible.
Expect steady temperatures in the 40s and 50s into Sunday morning, although strong winds will make it feel much chillier. Make sure to take a jacket and rain gear if you venture out.
Rain chances are forecasted to end early Sunday, so your Easter egg hunts and other outdoor plans are looking dry, but super cool to chilly. Sunday morning starts off in the 40s with afternoon highs only hitting the 50s and 60s.
