This week on ColaJazz Presents, we welcome percussionist Gino Castillo to the show. Originally from Quito, Ecuador, he now calls Charleston home. Castillo's music is vibrant, sassy, and full of complex rhythms.
In this clip from concert at the Charleston Music Hall in 2019, Castillo performs the Buena Vista Social Club's "Del Camino a la Vereda" as part of the tribute group, the Buena Vista Legacy Band.
