Internships are an important stepping stone for college students, offering hands-on experiences and boosting resumes with real-world skills. Students who complete internships report improved skills in communication, problem-solving, and teamwork. Internships give students the opportunity to expand their professional networks.
However, finding a good internship can be challenging. Students say packed schedules, financial constraints and even location can make it difficult to secure an internship.
College career centers offer a variety of resources to help students navigate the search for a quality internship.
