This week on ColaJazz Presents, we speak with vocalist and poet Eboni Ramm. When she's not performing around the Palmetto State, Ramm is teaching jazz poetry workshops in local schools, libraries, and community learning centers.
In this performance from 2020, the Eboni Ramm Quartet brings her soulful take to such classics as "What a Wonderful World," "Honeysuckle Rose," and "Misty," blending some of her own poems into the songs.
