Marshes also help absorb floodwaters, reduce erosion, and improve water quality. Every time you cross a bridge and see those expansive green landscapes, you're looking at one of nature's most productive environments.
Protecting our marshes means protecting wildlife, fisheries, and the coastal communities that depend on them.
