Dyslexia is a learning disability that affects millions of people around the world, and affects reading, spelling and language comprehension. It’s caused by differences in how the brain processes language and is unrelated to intelligence.
Early diagnosis is critical, as it enables access to specialized teaching methods and accommodations like audiobooks, text-to-speech software, and extended time for assignments. These tools can significantly enhance the learning experience for students with dyslexia.
With support from family, educators, and peers, individuals with dyslexia can overcome challenges and achieve their full potential.
