Being a good digital citizen is more than just knowing how to use technology—it’s about using it wisely, responsibly, and thoughtfully. For students and parents, that means pausing before posting and recognizing the potential impact of the content. It’s about creating a culture of kindness, standing up to cyberbullying, and showing empathy in digital spaces.
With generative AI, it’s more important now than ever to think critically by evaluating sources, spotting fake news, and questioning what we read. By building these habits together—at home and in school—we can help students grow into confident, thoughtful digital citizens who know how to navigate the online world with care and integrity.
