Into the Wild: Pollinators and healthy ecosystems

TRANSCRIPT:

Many of the foods we enjoy and plants we depend on rely on pollinators. Bees, butterflies, moths, and other pollinating species play a critical role in maintaining healthy ecosystems.

Late summer is an especially active time for pollinators as they gather resources before cooler weather arrives.

By planting native flowers and reducing unnecessary pesticide use, we can help support these important species and the habitats they depend upon.
