Transitioning from high school to college can be challenging, especially for students with intellectual disabilities. However, at the College of Charleston, the CharlestonLIFE™ program is making this journey much easier.
As one of only six programs in South Carolina and part of a network of over 340 nationwide, this fully inclusive four-year certificate program offers comprehensive support for students with mild intellectual and developmental disabilities.
The program focuses on academics, social development, independent living, and career development, educating and empowering students to thrive in all aspects of life and reach their full potential.
